Tabnine

Tabnine is one of the older AI code assistants, and it has built its reputation on privacy and control. Companies that cannot send code to a public service can deploy it in their own cloud, on their own servers, or in a fully air-gapped setup. It also states that it does not train on customer code. Day to day it offers code completion, a chat assistant, and tools for generating tests, documentation and explanations. It plugs into the major editors, including VS Code and the JetBrains family, so developers don't need to change how they work. Tabnine is aimed mostly at teams and regulated industries where security reviews matter as much as features. Plans are paid and priced per user, and larger customers can choose which underlying models to run.
