PhotoScissors

PhotoScissors is a straightforward web tool for removing backgrounds. It cuts out the subject automatically, then lets you touch up the edges with a pair of markers if the result needs a small fix. After the cutout, you can place the object on a new background color or image, add a shadow, or save a transparent file. It is also available as a desktop program for people who prefer to work offline. The basic online version is free for lower-resolution output, with paid options for larger files. It suits people who want a quick job and a little control over the result.
